Les Bedford, Executive Vice President/Residential Mortgage Banking

Les Bedford is Executive Vice President of Residential Mortgage Banking for Seattle Mortgage and is responsible for the company’s residential lending and escrow operations. Les started out a as a loan officer in 1978 and joined Seattle Mortgage in 2000 after many years as a loan originator, branch manager and regional manager for numerous local and national mortgage lenders.

Darla Bedford, Sr. Vice President/Production Operations Manager

Darla Bedford joined Seattle Mortgage in 2001 and is Vice President of Production Operations. She is responsible for the underwriting and closing departments of the company's residential lending division. Her 30 years in the mortgage industry embraces practical knowledge of first and second mortgage origination, processing, underwriting and closing procedures and guidelines with experience at the branch and corporate levels in both retail and wholesale operations.

Sharon Echols, Vice President/Product Development and Training

Sharon's career in mortgage lending began in 1976. Her experience has included managing Operations, Underwriting, Funding, Shipping and Insuring Departments. She joined Seattle Mortgage in 2000. Her responsibilities include finding new and innovative mortgage lending products, conducting product training and managing the Solutions Desk. The Solutions Desk was created in 2005 as a resource to our branches to answer program questions, provide underwriting guidelines and to assist with structuring loans to meet investor guidelines. The Solutions Desk also provides NYLX (pricing) support as well as assistance with Mortgage Insurance options.

Kyle Meyers, Vice President/Origination Systems

Kyle is Vice President Of Origination Systems for Seattle Mortgage. Kyle started his career with Seattle Mortgage in 1993 as a loan officer and worked in the production environment until 1996 when he became the database administrator for the origination software. In 2002, Kyle returned to a production office as a database manager where he designed and supported a contact management system for the loan originators. In 2005, he oversaw the technology transition to the current Datatrac system and is responsible for user support for this and all other residential mortgage administration software.

Angela Yates, Vice President/Branch Expansion

Angela is Vice President Of Branch Expansion for Seattle Mortgage. Her primary functions include enhancing and building the network of 100% retail branch offices. Angela worked for Central Pacific Mortgage Company for more 26 years, managing a wide variety of departments including Pricing, Loan Registration, Underwriting, Document Drawing, Funding, Shipping, Marketing, Operations Team and Training Departments. She joined Seattle Mortgage in 2007.
